Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled IP Network Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IP network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring robust network performance, developing new configurations, troubleshooting issues, and supporting network expansions. If you’re experienced in IP networking, have a strong understanding of routing and switching protocols, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage IP network solutions to support our global mobile network.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize network routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Optimize global connectivity with focus on low latency applications.
• Work closely with the Mobile Core Network team to optimize the global IP infrastructure needed to support our connectivity offerings.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration of IP networking with other platforms and technologies.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure network security and stability.
• Work with leading Cloud and Tier-1 network operators to optimize the delivery of our connectivity worldwide.
• Document network configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IP networking with knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VXLAN, EVPN).
• Experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, and firewall configurations.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, network monitoring, and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with network automation (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization (AWS, Azure, VMWare, Proxmox).
• Knowledge of network security best practices and tools.
• Good understanding of Mobile Networks, IPX, GRX and SS7 is a plus.
